Ever sine Rank 1 came out with "Airwave", there have been alot of trance artist that have came out with the same style as that song. I am not sure if Rank 1 was the first one to use that style of trance but that's where I heard it first. Anywayz, the songs that do come out with the same style sound very good. Examples are..

Traveller - Bright Sign
4 strings - Day Time

If they are any more I am missing let me know, I wouldnt mind Listening to them .

Hello!

Woah Jay D you're hella right about 4 strings - Daytime! I never really made the connection between those songs before! Whats kinda cool is i've got both of those on vinyl and now i'm gonna try lining those songs up against eachother whenever i do a set cause they would flow together perfectly! GOOD OBSERVATION!

Thumbs up

Soundsation - New Direction (Lunn + Latham Mix) is very rank 1-esque - its rare as fuck though and I dont know anyone else apart from me that has it.

hmmm, I don't know about Soundsation's New Direction, i don't have the remix you've got so maybe thats why i'm not hearing the "Rank Oneishness" to the song. I've got a drum and bass version of the song. (Excess beats mix)

Hello!

It's very simple:Rank 1 uses mostly strings, and the most Dutch songs round that period are also filled with strings, and bless that!
But now they should change a bit 'cause tha jar is starting to gettin' empty!

I recommend DJ Sterbinsky's "1492 (Orginal Mix)" and Dutch Masters' Strings for Ibiza (AA side) Both are pretty wicked tunes in the Rank 1 style.

So very true! I loved the strings for a while too, but way to many songs came along and it's starting to get boring. If you hear a trance song in a regular cafe (I'm not talking about a club or something, but just a place where (young) people come together and have a drink) it usually is a song filled with strings. It sure sounds good, but you hear it way to often and it's all a bit alike. I know this is true for other styles too, so the thing I really am missing is variaty. I guess trance with strings is just better received in a big crowd, containing people liking different styles.

Does this make any sense?
