I always wanted to do the same thing and I actually did as well.

Look on Audiogalaxy satellite for a song labelled as this:

Lexicon 4 - Reach Me (Svenson & Gielen vs Paul van Dyk Dub Mix)


I know the name is a little screwy, but it sounds good imo. Basically what I did was mix the original mix into the version that is on Politics of Dancing CD2 (which is an Airscape Remix that PvD reworked and dubbed). Although at the time I thought it was Svenson & Gielen and labelled it as such, then later found out it was Airscape.

I will check out your mix and review it. Could you check out mine?

vmc, the version that you did does sound a lot like the one I did. We chose different cue points to mix into but the concept was the same.


Please check out the version that I did, you might like it a little better (the transitions are almost impossible to hear).

As soon as I get it I'll give you feedback.

Your version is a very good work! I appreciate it. It's very similar to PVD remix, also it has some sound taken from Svenson & Gielen remix. It's much different than mine because your version is a new remix, and mine is a rework of the original mix. And yours is much more uplifting.

My question is: why didn't you post a thread here so that we TAs could know about the new remix, dl it and comment it?

Thanks. I'm glad you like it! I did post a thread about it in the music section but no one commented on it.

You shouldn't have posted that thread in the music section because there is a very quick rotation of threads there. You had better post it here.
