Uplifting trance is dead

Time to accept it and move on. Accept change and stop living in the past. Embrace the revolution of progressive house.

trance is not some kind of trend to be proclaimed dead or alive..

trance is a global culture, a state a mind. trance will never die..it will just evolve.

What land are you living on lad? Progressive House was proclaimed dead ages ago!! Like the man said Trance will evolve, and so has progressive house from its extremely boring days. Music as a whole evolves, there's no point pigeon holing a style of music because it will only move away to create another style. So there you have it,
Uplifting Trance is hardly dead.

But I prefer more Energetic Trance!! Heehee

It's also a global industry. There is way too much money to be made in uplifting Trance for any of the record labels to abandon it, although in some cases that would be the best thing to happen for the genre.

Hey look, a thread about uplifting trance dying all the way back from 2001: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...=uplifting+dead

The moment something comes to life it begins to die. So the answer to your question: Yes uplifting trance is dying, but not yet dead. Airbase is still putting out uplifting stuff among other various artists.

Genre wars huh!

They ruin clubland. It used to be all about going out for a night out, now people are too pigeon holed. It killed the UK scene, just make sure it doesn't happen over there.

Dude.....uplifting trance fans have to be the most dedicated fans I've ever come across, I think for that reason alone uplifting trance will never truly die.

and progressive house that's been pretty dead for a while now!!
