Drunk Grinding Teeth

I'm not sure exactly which forum to post this question in, but this seemed like a possble one. My question to you is that when I roll, it seems like I've been grinding my teeth more and more. I've had a few suggestions such as chewing gum, chewing bubble gum (specifically), chewing straws...all which have worked on occassion, but for the most part I tend to chew the sides of my mouth without realizing it. Leaving me in pain the next day, and not being able to eat anything but soup for a couple days, and not really being able to open my mouth too wide. Another suggestion was just not to think about it, and to stop myself from doing it. Well the works for about 5 min. and then I'll stop thinking about it go right back to grinding, I can't help it. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what they do to minimalize the damage done to their mouth after a night of partying.
Thank you

Just get used to not doing it. There's no other way (maybe chewing gum, but that will make you look like an idiot on drugs )

One might look stupid, but then one will not have a full mouth of false teeth at the age of 30

If you really want to minimalize the damage to your moth dow aht i did...stop taking drugs If that doesnt go for you there is always a choice of chewing gum thats what i did

I use to have the same problem. Extremely sore jaw the next day and gum or candies didn't seem to help. I did some checking on the net and found that magnesium is suppose to help. I tried it last time out and it really worked. I was back on solid food the next day. hope this helps.
