shouldn't we all have something better to do...

this is my quiet last post for a while. my internet time is getting waaaay out of hand. i've always told myself that since i view at work that its ok, but seriously, i could be soooo much more productive if i cut it back for a while. so i don't know when i'll post again, but enjoy the boards...i'll see you later.

Oh, and you shouldn't be too bothered about productivity at work. I'm sure you get paid by the hour, not by the job.

Why the "we" in the title when you're the one who's spending too much time on the internet?

I'm like Omega. Sometimes I surf just for pleasure and sometimes I don't. When I do surf it's normally while I drink and don't have a lot better to do at the moment. Since I spend better than half my time at work with a computer, I get too tired of looking at screens to surf all the damn time.

Lol!

I have a 1500 word paper due tomorrow, and I've already cut myself off from music production as a form of procrastination so that leaves me with nothing else left to do other than this, maybe beating off. That and I'm tired of watching trade deadline news for the 15th plus time.

Cutting certain activities out helps in a way I guess but I myself always find other ways to procrasinate...usually anything that takes me away from the work I should be doing.

Absolutely, my day went like this:

-Wake up, go to gym (this was more out of an effort to get myself going as opposed to procrastinate, however).
-Skip class to do essay.
-Instead of doing Essay, watch 2 hour lead up to NHL trade deadline.
-Get into discussion with roommates about Todd Bertuzzi and Canucks.
-Sit and watch post-tradeline discussion for 2 hours.
-Turn off the TV and go to my computer to type essay.
-Produce music for a while instead.
-Bite the bullet and cut that off so I can start working.
-Get hungry so go eat.
-Go back to Computer to work on essay.
-Work on it for half an hour then come here and waste an hour.

I imagine the last two points will be looped until I either pass out or finish the essay =P
