Alright I broke one of the holes that holds down the fan about the CPU on my motherboard. It's a big black plastic thing that goes along the outline of the CPU socket. I have a Pentium 4, where can I buy a replacement so that I can mount another fan?

LOL, you mean you broke the clip on the heatsink? Hope you didn't crush the CPU along with it. You can buy a new heatsink at any computer hardware store.

No no I didn't crush the CPU...the part that is broken isn't on the heatsink tho, its the black part on the motherboard that you mount the heatsink onto...I hope thats clearer

So you broke a piece off the motherboard? Sounds like you need a new motherboard then...

Noooo, its just a stupid little piece of plastic D:
only solution to this is to buy a new motherboard! if the heatsync isnt broken and the cpu isnt broken it shouldnt cost TOO much however theres a good chance you'll prolly need to format
btw how the fuck did you manage to break that???

No there wouldn't be any need to format. The hard drive wasn't damaged.
Probably do need a new motherboard though, or tie a rope around the heatsink, lol... how DID you break that?
