code: Proto Local Address Foreign Address State
TCP 192.168.0.100:80 192.168.0.100:3451 TIME_WAIT
TCP 192.168.0.100:80 192.168.0.100:3534 TIME_WAIT
TCP 192.168.0.100:80 192.168.0.100:3628 TIME_WAIT
i shouldn't have anything running there, and when i type 192.168.0.100 in my browser it says "page cannot be found"
but my port scanner says port 80 is open... i scanned for viruses earlier today... i'm behind a router and a firewall too... how can i find out what's listening on that port... advice?

Re: port 80
Port 80 would generally be a web server, do you have IIS? Sometimes other programs try to run web servers too, like ICQ.

port 80 is HTTP port (aka internet)
192.168.0.100 is not a valid ip

hah, never mind it was one of the messengers being weird.
if i can run a netstat -n command in command window i probably know port 80 is http, innit?
and 192.168.0.100 is a valid ip as long as it's on a LAN, and that's what i have

and 192.168.0.100 IS a valid IP for your network, although no the Internet. My best guess is that it's the computer plugged into port 1 of your router.

not really, i just set my router dhcp to give my computer a static ip
and since this thread is pretty much useless now... 10.10.x.x is also a reserved LAN ip range

correction - nothing is reserved for lan ip range, it can be 224.23.92.* or whatever - same shit, smells different
