hi. I stumbled across this pretty nice picture of a chrome mercedes:
now, I read in a magazine that it's out of a whole calendar, so there must be some more pictures like this one.
Anybody seen the others? where?
(btw, the car is not REALLY chrome, they put chrome stickers/foil (sp?) all over it)

Dont know of any more mercedes pics but heres a new Audi A8
BTW most of the people on car forums think that the audi and the benz are not actualy chrome but polished aluminuum. Dont know myself, just apssing on the information

as I said, I read in the article that the Benz aren't real chrome. They removed the paint and then put on chrome stickers (foil) all over the car. These were prepared only for the photoshooting and were never for sale, even though people offered a lot of money...

fo real, I would think it wouldn't be too hard to chrome a whole car. hardest part would be prepin the body to be dipped.

Last year, Jaguar had a "chromed" XJR on display at the british car show. It was made of polished aluminium and of course is not road legal
