MP3 Virus Question

this might be a stupid question, but how do you set all your mp3's to read-only... i did a search for *.mp3, selected all, and tried to right-click -> properties but that doesn't work. Anyone know of a way, i know i'm probably just being an idiot

that way should work, but well... you can try this other way

Open your COMMAND PROMPT, go to your MP3 Folder by using CD, and then type this

c:\yourmp3folder> attrib +r *.*

I dont know why you post starting with a "this may be a stupid question", this is getting very common these days... Do you need to feel like that?

Ya I know, hopefully a "NON-NOOB TA" will come with a stupid answer, showing everybody at the forums he is really cool and not a NOOB...

Well anyways, about that MP3 virus, it was just a joke, hope it helps more than my last post

It probobaly does have to do with the intense flaming many newbie posts get. I blame it on the class system instituted by the various "addict" levels. Of course this thread was started by someone with a custom level so I guess that blows my theory out of the water. Perhaps it was because the original poster new in his (or her) heart of hearts that something about this virus thing was fishy.
