what the subject says... i was inspired by the "how old are you?" .. which got off topic.. how long have you produced trance(or what ever else)?... what equiptment do you use.. where can we hear your tracks.? what style do you do?

Myself I've been creating everything from experimental techno.. to trip hop.. but mainly trance.. for just over 2 years.. I haven't released anything completed because I haven't been satisfied (or able to concentrate on one thing for long enough) with anything yet .. I used to use acid + a bunch of shareware/freeware + warez software.. I now use software synths and a midi control keyboard and logic audio.. I'm planning to get a used rack mount syth in the next month or two... I don't have any idea which one though... I'm in the process of writing a morning dreamy, psychedellic trance track right now..
if you want to see some bad (year old) examples of my stuff... + a really poorly designed web page .. (i'm revamping it right now .. ) goto http://resonance.n3.net/ (resonance records being the label I'm going to start up soon)

cheers
Synder

I create kind of Trancey stuff, quite smooth with rolling beats rather than in yer face aggression.

I use:

Logic Audio and Audiowerk8, Airbase 99 Drum Machine, Roland JV-1080, Roland JP-8080, Digitech Effects unit, mixer, master keyboard etc.

The JP-8080 is great for pads and basses, really smooth, but also gets quite dirty too!!!!!

I'm going to get Emagic's soft sampler soon and upgrade my machine.

You will soon be able to hear my tracks online, I'll publish details when it's up...

I do some shit on my own too.
With following software:
Rebirth RB-338 2.1 , TS-404, Modplug Tracker, Hammerhead ,Goldwave and lots of samples.
But I'm so busy, that I never complete anything,I have like 20-30 "just parts" of tracks.
I at least enjoy "producing",even if I never complete anything. But if I do I sure will upload it on mp3.com because it really is good!

Smoking ..umm..something

ive been producing tracks with a friend of mine for about a year and a half now, we call ourselves Konspiracy. as i sed in the 'how old are you' forum, we havent released anything yet, coz we are waiting for 'the one'! the one being the one tune that breaks us...

We mainly do hard/progressive trance but i have done a lot of hip-hop, trip-hop and a bit of breakbeat stuff.

I also do a bit of DJing, i play pretty much the kind of stuff we make, ranging from progressive through to hard and deep trance, with a bit of hard house to end it all! i also DJ a bit of hip-hop, but none of u guys would be interested in that side (or would u... any of u guys into hip-hop at all?)

i hope each and evry 1 of u gets the break u deserve i know im still frikken waitin!!

peace

Yes, i actually listen a lot to hip-hop, also tried to create some beatz, but i wasn't happy with it....

I also create trance... i have just uploaded my two of my tunes to mp3.com.. if anyone interested you can find it at http://www.mp3.com/fatboy

Unfortulantely my best tune hasn't approved because mp3.com staff think that some of my sounds are sampled from a movie, so i have to prove they are mine first... i'm sure it will be arranged in some days, or maybe a week...

I found a real baddass program to try my hand at producing trance. Its ORION by sonic syndicate, and I've found that this program is unlimited. Coupled with soundforge, cubase, and acid pro, it is a goldmine for tranceaddicts like us. I am still in practice...I can't afford any hardware, but I think with the power of ORION, it will come soon. I am also a college student, broke as joke, but Orion is only $49!!! It has a Rebirth-like interface, but unlimited modules and effects.... a really great program for aspiring producers! (like me :])

I like to make melodic trance, with a little harder beat though. I tried some hiphop w/Fruityloops, but I wanted to try trance since that is my favorite! I have no completed tracks, it is really hard to get started when you are just learning about LFO, VST filters, phasers, etc.!!!

peace, tranceface
