Need spare parts for technics online. Anyone?

So far, I have checked out www.1200s.com for spare parts.
I'm about to buy some technics, but with some damage to the base cover (plastic or whatever)of the chassis. On 1200s.com they go for 109.99 for the black ones. I need two of them. Does anyone have any hook ups for anything cheaper??? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Sneaker Pimp Update

Ok guys,, need to update. I couldn't wait any longer,,, and I had no luck finding any cheap parts other than a local authorized distributer. So I sent both technics 1200s in for an estimate at a local autherized dlr. I know for a fact that one is already semi working, (need balance weight, tone arm slightly bent) because it played fine without a problem. However, one if them may become too expensive to fix. It is missing the start/stop button,,, but also the circuit board beneath the on/off switch is broken, so it does not turn on. Also, the top base cover is broken and bent. The first one, the one that I said was working, has also some chassis damage, but on the top cover and bottom,,,, but that is about it. I will have to wait to see what they estimate the repair at. Unfortunately, I called around, and every autherized dlr told me that they would not accept me to purchase the parts and pay them for the labor. They required for me to let them order the parts for whatever reason.
I was tempted to order the parts myself and do the work myself, but I heard that they are a pain to work with. That they have a whole bunch of springs and other little shit to deal with.

Has anyone ever opened one or taken one apart? How hard is it? Do you recommend it?

The only thing I can do now is wait and see.
