does anyone know of any good raves that are gonna happen in the summer?

raves are for underaged kiddies...:P who cannot get into real clubs

i meant like any famous or good events.

Toronto has WEMF in july (held in the middle of fucking nowhere, on a hells angel farm in the middle of Ontario)

Rosenmontags Rave is held in feb of every year

all the big festivals

and for the fuckwits Ultra (the scene of some of the worst dj performances of all time)

is the lineup for WEMF usually any good?

it is usually something like 80 bucks over 2 days in tents in BobCaygeon(sp?) on the farm owned by the hells angels with fucking raver kids. Usually 2-3 hrs from Toronto, it would take a helluva lineup for me to go to WEMF this year and that never happens. My friend's sister's friends.....ravegimps into HHC go every year.

me and my friends encountered a raver Eed out crackhead at steve lawler, weeks back....sighs....asshole took up space and nearly poked the eye out of a friend.

Raves have a sort of exotic reputation; they draw alot of high school age kids to them because they think they can get drugs and cigarettes for free, or at least cheap. It's good for newer or lesser known DJ's to get some exposure, I guess, but the experience is ruined by the amount of people who attend raves for bullshit reasons. That's why you see alot of American TA's ragging on 'raves': why go to a rave when you can go to a club where these kids are specifically excluded? You'll see better DJ's and have more fun.
