Anti-Skating Question

I was told that Anti-Skating should always be set on zero unless you have a certain record that may have a slight scratch or if its slippery... BTW, i am using Tech 1200 mk3's. I was also wondering about arm height. Which I was also told the arm should be perfectly perpendicular to the record while its playing. I lowered my arm height so this is the case.

The anti-skate should be set the same as you weight/ counter-balance
If you have you needle set to track at 2 grams then set your anti-skate to 2
