I've decided to take everyone's advice n turntables
So after much thought and discussion with everyone on this forum as well as reading a lot of other posts, I've decided to not pick up a "decent" set of turntables, but rather to pick up 2 technics.
However, I've been told to wait until I finish my exams (November), before going out to buy them, since they'll end up being a major distraction.
So thanks for all the advice, thoughts etc.
However, I now have about 35-40 vinyl, with nothing to listen to them on. They're sitting in a corner of my room in a crate - IT'S KILLING ME !!!!
I use Gemini XL-500's...... they are the best!
I'm sure if you look in your bargain trader you can find a set of used ones cheap!
Good Luck!

Wow ABT, thats the first time i have ever seen you give bad advice.
I certainly hope you are joking.
Widget, nothing outperforms the 1200's. And believe me ther IS a reason they cost $460. Good choice, dont let anyone change your mind.

Well nyczliquid---for one reason, it's like a drug. You go and get just one and you're hooked...gotta have another...right away.It would take a real lot of self control to be able to go out and just get one for now (unless that's all you can afford, of course).
