There are so many complaints about hearing some good tracks on Z103.5 or in some gino clubs... So why do u listen to trance? B/c you like it, or because it's not mainstream?

I would NEVER listen to Trance if it went mainstream. The only reason I listen to it now is because its underground and it's cool to listen to it. As soon as it becomes uncool I'll switch to Jungle !

i'll listen to trance but it doesnt mean i would like everything that gets released. I can imagine alot more cheesyness.

the question of whether it is mainstream or not would not come in to play, but rather if i enjoyed it or not. If it is bad, it does not matter if it is mainstream.

I don't make my decisions on whether I listen to a certain genre, based on whether it's mainstream or not. I decide on how good the songs are. I get tired of certain genres (i.e. Uplifting Trance) for certain periods of time, but then I go back to them sooner or later. Mind you, there is quite a good correlation between a genre being mainstream and the quality of those songs within that genre.

But yeah, just because I hear a certain song that is considered underground on a shite radio station such at Z103.5, doesn't mean it automatically sucks. What makes me hate the song is the fact that it gets hammered over and over and over again. *cough* Sandstorm *cough*

the trance we listen to today is considered mainstream in other parts of the world, so as long as it doesn't somehow get manipulated (like some of you said 'turns to cheese).. I don't think it'd be a problem at all.

I'd probably listen to it a lot more if it was mainstream, because I'd be able to put the same music on when there's large company.

I would if the tracks aren't all ad ridden i'd definately listen to trance.

Yeah I’d probably listen to it more too b/c i could play it with large groups of people. I don't mind cheesy stuff too much as long as trance didn't get mutilated and turned into something gross.

Will Neven happen on the FM Dial though. Maybe when we go nation wide digital and you can get everything in the country with 100+ station. THEN we might get a channel. Until then wont happen, but we can hope
