i just wanted to get a sense of what the consumer wants...is that so wrong

Overkill, why? I’m f****** fed up of paying for a tune twice over because of different mixes. You can generally fit two tunes on one side of a vinyl if they aren’t ridiculously long epics, so why can’t we have one 12” with four tunes, regardless of whether they be other mixes or other productions by the artist? Profit seems to be the answer to that question.

Two original works. Obviously if the b-side is an afterthought or something the producer dug out of the depths of his studio then it's not going to be a quality release, but all the same.
