I was glad there were attacks by Palestinians on Israeli soldiers without any citizen injuries or deaths. Thats the way it should be done. Bodies were also returned.

If by citizens you mean both Israeli and Palestinian, than for once I might have to agree with you. While I abhor attacks killing people in any situation, I sympathise with the Palestinian situation and am against Israeli settlements or incursions to protect those settlements. However, that still doesn't mean I would equate targeted pal attacks against civlians with israeli attacks that incur collateral civilian casualties.

your right, but lets face it, they will keep fighting till the sun collapses into the earth...so this is the best way to do it.

Yes, which is why I'm for Israel adopting the moral high ground. Leave Gaza and the West Bank completely. Any subsequent Palestinian terrorist attacks against Isreal proper subsequentely deserve full retaliation from the IDF. The Palestinians will be forced to crack down on extremists. The solution is so simple ...

A) How many Hizbulla attacks were incurred against Israel during the occupation of Lebanon?
B) How many Hizbulla attacks are launched in the present
C) How many countries defend Hizublla attacks as acts of "resistance"?
If Palestinians continue to attack Israel after they have their own state they will QUICKLY lose world support. How would one continue to justify such attacks?

Floster i think everybody knows why Hizbulla still fighting israel in Shabaa Farm, as long as israel keeps that lebanese piece of land and the airforce keeps flying over lebanon they won't stop attacking israeli settlements there.

who cares about world support if the world does nothing in the right direction? about 2 weeks ago an israeli soldier was killed there, no one gives a damn, and They still fire Missles once in a while. Also a big part of recent terror attacks in Gaza & West Bank were planned and financed by Hizbulla. They train terrorist and supply knowlage.
also its a known fact that The Islamic Jihad is like a "wing" of Hizbulla in Gaza - now killed 11 soldiers in 2 days.
And israel does plan to move out of Gaza & line of seperqtion fance in West Bank... but please dont tell me that now "The Palestinians will be forced to crack down on extremists" cause they will have no reason to do so - the extrimists won.

The present border with lebanon was accepted by the U.N. Security Council and still is. You can always find a reason.

Do you guys get it?
There is no simple solution or the damn thing would be solved. See I can't stand to see deaths on either side. Yes some of you have taken sides in one way or the other. I'm fed up with Isreal and the Palestinians, the cycle will never end till someone decides to actually make peace. The hate on both sides is so deep, that most people don't care about the other. Most of the people in the land are law abiding citizens who want a safe place to live, work and raise their families and why not have that. I'd hate to live in a place where I'm looking over my shoulder, scared that the guy in front of me will be a guy or girl with TNT strapped to their chest or that some sniper will take out my boy playing outside. It is stupid, morally wrong on both sides, the cycle won't end and this will take one heck of a solution but I think it is worth it to stop the crap that is happening and lay a good peaceful foundation for the future. I always look that if the Irish could come to a peace deal and we all know the hate that runs between them and that peace could happen (fragile it still is) but if they can do with the complex problems and a high death rate like the isreal conflict then why can't peace be achieved.
