I personaly don't like them. They are too harsh on the highs, plus their tweeters bolw a lot. I asked a friend of mine who works at Guitar Center, and he told me that every single pair that they sold were brought back because of blown tweeters. I would go with Mackies or the new Events, which I think are the best sounding monitors out there. The best thing is to take a CD that you play a lot to a store, and try out different monitors to see which ones sound the best to you. |
I've sold many pairs of KRK V8II and V6II and not one single speaker was defective, blown, or malfunctioning basically, no customer complaints on the KRK's VII series as well as no complaints on the New KRK's Rockit RP series. as far as Mackie yeah they aren't bad sounding but HR824s are $649.00-699.00each or you can go with Mackie's new line of monitors, TAPCO S8 active monitors at only $499.00pair. You can also try M-Audio BX8 $478.95pair, or the KRK Rockit RP8s at $249.00each
email me at [email protected] for fellow TA special pricing.
Cheers...
