eBay will demand 5% (or whatever percentage they get from sales) on it. At least i think thats how it works
It happened to me when i jokingly put up my university for sale on eBay for a laugh. It went up to $16,000 then i got an email from a guy saying eBay collects a small percentage of the final price.
i gues thats how eBay makes their money. anyways i took my auction down

The seller removed the fake bids, and it has now ended at US $3,850.00.
eBay will get a chunk of this, of course, but if it wasn't for their site I doubt this item would've sold for such a high price.
Over 6 million hits to that one auction... yikes!!!
