sorry but york is crazy for parking. there really isnt a spot that the parking police dont check, your only hope is to park at the structure which is located by the student centre, and leave after 11pm, they dont charge you if you leave after that

There are certain spots around campus, where you can park for free. Just have to look out for them.

It's shitty that parking spots are rare and expensive though. Oh well.

during the strike of 2001, when the whole campus was bloackaded, cars werent allowed to get into the school, and the whole campus basically became a war zone..me and my friends found out about MANY MANY secret locations. Some booby trapss were set up in these locations thereafter by the TA coalition and many peoples cars were fucked...but i was smart.. i learned from my excursions of that terrain. The war taught me alot

Chimney stack road has a little road attached to it that leads to the parking lot infron of York lanes...
