Urban Lea - Spellcast

Very nice uplifting & energetic tune, can't believe there's no thread about it yet It reminds me a bit of Push - The Legacy, I like both just as much.

It's been in my head for half a week now

Label: Simply
Catalogue No: SIMP 12005
Release Date: 15 April 2004
Sample : A - Spellcast

Sorry, but it's not Gaz West, but Daniel Lea.

Taken from www.urbanlea.co.uk

Urban Lea was created by Daniel Lea in January 2002. Daniel is 18 years old from the Merseyside area in the North West of England. Daniel has been producing music for the last few years which has since led onto remix work from NuLife Records with artists such as Ian Van Dahl. Urban Lea creates electronic music based around the trance genre and was originally started as an internet music project based on mp3.com. This led on to Daniel sending out demo cd's to labels which landed Urban Lea's first release in July 2003 on the simply recordings label. This went on to recieve plays from Paul Van Dyk, Warp Brothers and Rob Tissera with the track also being played by Dave Pearce on his radio 1 dance anthems show.

great track from danny.
very good friend of mine, and each new track he produces never failes to amaze me.

can see big things in the near future for this young lad.

all the best m8.

edit: he has a few new tracks on the go, even better than spellcast IMO.

keep an eye out and an ear open for a track of his called Starway and interstate, very impressive.

Satan (eek!)

This track is brilliant. I can only imagine how it would sound in a large venue with lasers and stuff when that melody before the climax starts twisting and turning all over the place. One of the best tracks this year for me, cuz it is spot-on my kind of style and is very well produced. Love those hi-hats making a runthrough every so many beats, very energetic.
