Ive installed the drivers and when i connect my camera its on and its fine but when i connect with someone else it doesnt seem to work . on their end it says they are connected but my ens days connecting and the image is just black. anyone know anything? thanks

have you set it up through msn?

tools>webcam settings.

you might have to adjust the brightness levels or something, could be that, if you can't even view your own webcam then it can't be a net problem :/

we installed the latest edition of the drivers for her cam last night. i said reinstall the software to so she says she'll do that tonight. her webcam works, if she goes into webcam settings she sees herself on the left. as said, the webcam works within the comp, but cant be sent out. She runs no firewall either.

it doesnt send out over msn or net meeting. im confused

does anyone know why this might be?

I had the same problem with a webcam. Though it was a usb connection thing.
After a few tries, I managed to use it by clicking on [B]tools>webcam settings[B] and then clicking on ok. It's fine now. I also downloaded Logitech QuikCam software( which I don't use but serves as a driver for the device I think). It's all peachy now. Apart from the image quality though Cheap-ass

I say you post a few test-snapshots of you using the webcam so we can judge whether it's ok or not.

If you can see your self on the left, it goes without saying that the device is ok and communicating with the os/software. You just have to play around a bit with the way that you send the image.
