Well Tiksa, you will be happy to know that Tiesto's set was Great Trackwise! He played half the songs on his new Just Be album, and a few of his classics.
Cons:
1. It was waay too overcrowded, no one could dance, i could barely move my arms
2. Lighting effects? Where were they? There were a few 75 Watt iridescent light bulbs strategically placed around the dancefloor to keep us happy . And a strobe to keep Webbie happy on the second floor
3. Pete Tongs "warmup" set nearly sent me to sleep, by the time Tiesto came on stage i was barely in the mood for dancing
4. I felt Tiesto lacked that godlike Charisma, i didn't experience any of the mystique that Tijs possessed at Mobile Home. This may be because there were no lighting effects / strobes / lasers / NOTHING and we saw his DJ booth constantly lit with that strategically placed 75 Watt light bulb
5. Being covered in other peoples sweat, note that this relates to Con number 1.
6. Traffic stopping halfway through was funny, and increased the excitement of the song, Adagio of Strings stopping right before the breakdown was..........
I was told this was Jumping Jacks fault?
Pros:
1. As you can see from my previous post i had a great time socialising with the whole TA Crew, this made my night
2. Radio 1's essential mix, how are you sydney it's been far too long, omg i love Pete Tongs voice
3. Urban Train
4. My total expenditure for the night was two dollars fifty and that was on a Pepsi i purchased on the drive into Sydney
5. Spending two hours with nicknack and syber_fish working our way to the front and centre to get nicknacks Holland Soccer Jersey signed by the Man himself. We resorted to writing "PLEASE SIGN MY SHIRT" on one of the "MIX!" thingys that were handed out. Tiesto saw this, gave us this big cheesy grin and the thumbs up. He signed the shirt and held the back of the shirt which had "Tiesto" and "1" written on the back up to the crowd
fucking awesome Baz! You have got to frame that shirt and hang it up in the living room
As you can see Tiksa, most of my problems were related to the venue and not to Tiesto himself, i think you will have a blast up at Family

Tiesto did rock the place, but what was with taking the needle off the record halfway through Barbers Adagio for Strings? You could see Jumping Jack wanted to play but Tiesto didn't want to stop, and Tiesto kept pushing Jumping Jack out of the booth. Im assuming either Jumping Jack or one of the tech crew pulled the needle off. Tiesto wasn't happy about it and neither was the crowd. Whoever it was needs to be shot!!
Other tracks played:
Riley & Durrant - Candesco
Rank 1 - Breathing (breaks dub)
