Argument with an old guy.
When TA was shut down for a little while I was in this chat room.
And there was this 43 year old guy trying to convince me that I shouldn't go to raves because they are just all sex and drugs.
I told him that there is that stuff goin on but that is not what raves are about. I told him that raves are about whatever you make it about. They can be about celebrating life or celebrating the joys in life or anything like that. I said that the only people that say it is all about drugs and sex are the ones who make it about drugs and sex. Raves to me are just an escape from everyday reality. Where I don't have to face my fears or worry about bills or anything. Anyways what do you think raves are about. And do you think I was right in telling the guy that Raves aren't about drugs and sex.
word to big bird on that one
if anyone tries to tell me that raves are evil and shit, i just say 'don't knock it till you check it out for yourself'
then they shut up

OK, please refrain from such ageist remarks, because I am offended by them

I think that more tahn some other girls! so does E and acids too so... I guess age is not a problem or anything!

I realy liked that one with "raves is what U make of them" and I think U R right. Like everything in life, the thing called "weapon of choice" is what makes us powerfull (and some stupid).
And I always thought that it's kinda hard to deal with old ppl when U R arguing. B/c they aren't flexible, they will never take a teenager's word for a fact.
