anyone have crazy work schedules... i might be starting this job in a hospital and it from like 7pm to 3am ive never done the night shift im gonna be so tired but i need the money.. have any of you done this before... gimme some advice.. coffee? no doze? lol anything

caffeine and that sort of stuff wont work in the long term
changing your bodies sleep patterns is the best route. Move it back 45-to an hour, and wake up the same amount earlier, do it over a period of a week to 2. FORCE yourself out of bed, even if there is nothing to do.

I used to work the 11-8 shift.
hour long breaks = hour long naps, which seemed good but killed the 2nd half the shift.

shift work is a bitch, which is why nobody wants it. Good luck.

Umm im a janitor... i work 6 - 1am usually... its not too bad... today i work at 5 in the morning, so im just staying up... the urge to go to my nice warm bed is great..

i've done crazier hours.

10-6am...12-8:30am......4pm-6:30am



Get a lot of rest. Sleep in long. It's also good to stay up late the night before. Either way, you're bound to get sleepy. Just live with it

the craziest hours are when they switch you from day shifts to night shifts like every two weeks. once you set into a rhythm, they go and fuck it up...

my mate just started a job at homebase [DIY store]

he does monday-friday and he works 10pm till 7am

i think they're pretty crazy hours :/

make sure to change ur sleeping habits quick. That way you won't lay in bed for hours trying to sleep. My dad used to work shifts of about 18-20 hours at a time. he started seeing ghosts and shit

if i get my new job, i will be working 8am-8pm everyday.
