Take any sharp stab like sample, reverse it and add some reverb. You can often get some pretty good effects that way.
Your tune is sounding pretty nice, very chilled. The biggest thing it's lacking is percussive layers right now. You have a lot of cool sounds in it, you just need to back them up with some richer percussion sounds. Listen to the intro and outro of most steve porter tunes and try to dissect all the different percussive elements in them; if you can achieve half of what he's got going on then you'll be on the right track, hehe. The kick on this tune could use a little beefing up too, but otherwise quite cool.
