Question What song for your wedding and why?

Hey all
I was just thinking, when you and your partner have your first dance together as man and wife at your wedding what would you like the song to be? and why?
Id have Savage Garden - Truly madly deeply

When i invited this girl i really really liked for the first time it was the song we danced to. I had it all set up on my pc, speakers on but with the screen off so she wouldnt suspect anything.
Then i said "Amy, come here a minute, i want a hug." so she came over to me, hugged me, i reached over her shoulder, tapped enter on the keyboard and that song started playing. Hehe, i will never forget the expression on her face

Shes been my girlfriend sine, been together a year and 2 months now.
Do u think that was romantic or just corny ?

Jackson

Well its super corny! But its very beautiful and romantic so who cares. Like something out of a Romantic Comedy, I love thoes movies, go Notting Hill. But yea your good people.

As for my song... something along the lines of DJ RUSH - Freaks Mon Hubbard, because I'm a freak, and I'm Nasty. Freak Nasty.

the special things between you and your partner can easily be viewed as corny by an outsider even though it is a very romantic memory for the two of you.

me, i would never play savage garden, but your story still put a smile on my face. it is beautiful. it is always the small things that are special.

when you marry her, you should play it again. no doubt.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind. Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line. Reaching out to embrace the random. Reaching out to embrace whatever may come. I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human. With my feet upon the ground I lose myself between the sounds and open wide to suck it in, I feel it move across my skin. I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me, whatever will be willed on me. And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.

Spiral out. Keep going.

I would definitly want it to be a trance track !! And I mean some serious bangin' trance. Something to celebrate to, really bust a move. Can you imagine how the guests would react?? LOL, all the grannies covering thier ears....

I went all through my list, I can't find one track that fits just right. Heh, maybe it's not made yet.

I would love to play Orbital - Halcyon +On +On. As I just love that track.

Though on the other hand it would prolly make me cry, think that crying in your own wedding isn't very nice.

'Lamb - Gorecki'...would be the perfect song for a wedding. As mentioned above 'together we will conquer' would work well too.
