what are the requiremnets for a new mod?

regional forums help unite the locals better, me thinks.
Can only Swamper approve of a new region aswell?

Yea this information would be really nice to know. Hopefully we can get a Southwest USA forum going

normally its 15 active users from the same location, and a mod normally gets elected between the people all asking for a new forum. mods and swamper do a background check on the nominated mod(s) and decide between ourselves.

i was doing this while brousing thro site suggestions to remember who suggested it ages ago to credit them, but i got pulled away onto something else and never got round to looking again.
