Filling the void...
Hello people, great forum you have here. I’ve been browsing for a couple of weeks and finally decided to register. I’m hoping some of you can help me. I live in Alaska where there are no concerts, raves or clubs. As a matter of fact I don’t have one single friend who even knows what the hell electronic music is much less listens to it. So my knowledge is lacking in many areas as you can imagine. I’m hoping that some of you can give me some suggestions and help me find some new tunes. Here are some of my favorite goods:
Tiesto Live@ trance energy 2000 (entire thing blows me away!)
Junkie XL
Underworlds old stuff(ah hell everything I guess)
Chemical bros old stuff
Cj bolland
EIB (these guys are on to something)
Astral projection
Prodigy
Orbital
I’m hoping someone can see a pattern here and give me some good suggestions.
I really like trance too but I’m very picky about it. Like I said I loved that Live@trance energy2000 album I also love some of Tiestos other stuff like Allure-no more tears (Amazing!), the obsession mix with Junkie XL, I’m really starting to like some ferry corsten as well as some of signums stuff. I have a relentless craving for extreme/hard hitting electronic but find very little that I enjoy. Most of the ‘hard house’ music or whatever you want to call it I find is crap with lame beats that just don’t strike a chord with me and is imo, generally lacking in quality.
Please contribute and help fill the void in my life where electronic music is concerned.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
