Ok, I just finished talking to the head promoter at Trance Clube @ Heaven and he just told me... for June he is going to get Rank 1... I had to change my pants after he told me that... then he goes on to tell me, that if Blank & Jones gets their Visa issues worked out, they would be here in July. Then he said he wants to bring M.I.K.E. later in the summer in hopes that his name will be more recognizable by then (recognition for Americans, naturally). I don't think L.A. has ever had such a good promoter! This guy is actually from Holland(go figure right, i mean what american would know how to get such good talent) and knows a lot of the Dj managers so thats how he gets hooked up. I.E. Thrillseekers, Cor, and Ton T.B.! Next week is Bossi from Cosmic Gate, and my god who knows from there! L.A. has got a new friday night and i am more than excited!
My city needs a revolution of that kind, but then again, Toronto isn't too far away, and they have some top Djs spinning there from time to time.

Blank & Jones are my Gods!!! I've had fortune of seeing them live only once -- Loveparade 2001 Weekend. I've been dying to see them again, but the closest they've ever been to LA has been Miami, so this is hugh.
Anthony do you happen to know any more specifics? Tentative date? Keep us updated!!!

I do not as of right now. I am in constant contact w/ the head promoter and he told me a really sad story tonight. We were talking about who I thought would bring the crowds that doesn't cost X amount of money. He told me... ::sigh:: that when he brought Steve Helstrip (aka Thrillseekers) to his club, not many people showed up, but the next night he brought Steve to Giant (a big club in L.A.) and the place was packed! Roger Sanchez & D:Fuse were playing. The guy couldn't understand it for the life of him and he constantly apologized to Steve. He didn't understand because Thrillseekers is so big in Europe and he brings the best DJ's to L.A. and not many people show up. So i'm on a mission with him. I told him I would like to start doing the opening sets and I would help him pick the Dj's to come. As for more dates, you guys will be the first to know. I am thinking of getting Above & Beyond to come to L.A. I think they might be able to draw a big crowd. Anyone agree or disagree?

I'm guessing the people LA are more into the Progressive scene and the superstar trance DJ'S. Its quite sad that the turnout was low. Perhaps they should lower the age limit
its a lot less stressful on everyone within a club when you know everyone can drink. L.A. isn't run by the mob like most clubs back east are, and here they close down all the time because of under-age drinking fines. I'm only 20 myself so I know what you mean. Well anyways, all the feedback has been good so far. thank you!
