Rank 1 - Airwave (Subtle`s Offering Nothing New Epic Remix)

since somebody else posted their remix of Rank 1 - Airwave, I just felt like promoting my own as well.. alot have probably listened to it already, since it is heavily promoted in my sig..

Strings sound pretty nice and clean tho every1 uses the saw strings for airwave but i guess thats a personal point of view. i dont really like the bass sorry. it works pretty well in the tune but on its own im just not keen on the sound of it. Kick and percussion are pretty tight, good job. i guess the only down point is that its brings nothing new to the table.
but on the whole a pretty well produced production keep up the good work
Percs sound a bit flat, not in their levels, but they need some changes, too repetitive. The melody needs turning down. Drowns down the other elements some what. Overall however, not at all bad.

Overall this is closer to a cover than an all out remix. I don't like the choice of bdrum or clap samples and when the open hat is introduced it drowns out the closed hats giving the track a fairly basic rhythm. To me the bass seems to have a bit too much presence as well. The saw pads are fine and overall the mixing is ok. It's just very safe.
