American group new to Barcelona

OK, so I don't speak Spanish very well so this will have to be to the English-speaking Spaniards on the board. I am with a group of two guys and about 8 girls and we are going to be interested in finding the best clubs in Barcelona while we are here for 4 days. Are there any notable DJ's coming to Barcelona within the next 4-5 days? Also, what and where are the premeir record shops in Barcelona? The reason I'm asking is b/c I'm a DJ as well and would love to pick up some vinyl while I'm here. ANy info to make our trip more enjoyable would be great. Thanks in advance....

Drew

Hey welcome to BCN, enjoy your stay

Here is a thread (in spanish) about clubs and restaurants in Barcelona, you can check it out:
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=172374

But anyways I will give you specifically info about the next clubbing events in the city:

- On saturday 22nd there is a huge event in the Palau Sant Jordi (see my sig) Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Francesco Farfa and many more will be there. Here is another thread with the complete line-up and all:

- Wednesday 19th: Zombie Nation @ Club Moog
Club Moog website

- The Loft Club (haven't seen any good events soon, but frequently they bring some good Dj's)

- Also now there is a cultural event called Forum 2004: with many concerts, exposures, exhibitions... every day.

About record shops go in a shop called Plastic Records (dunno exactly where it is, sorry). And also in the centre of the city (Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya zone) there are some good record shops (ask there better).
