There are many vocoders out there. Many recommend the Orange vocoder although it don't like it much. There is one by native instruments called Vocator which is poplular. Personally, for the robotic voices, I still think vocoder by Stienberg is the best. These are all VST plugins though (.dll files). You can download demos of the programs listed above though (cubase, logic, etc) for free from their web pages. |
Does Steinberg Vocoder work alone, or do you need to download other Steinberg software for it?
Ive downloaded the Orange Vocoder and I couldnt figure it out how to make it work. Seemed like you had to download 50 other files or programs just to make it work. Sucked, so I gave up.
