pardon my ignorance but I think the guy was just being nice when he paid the toll for all these people on the hwy. You have heard of random acts of kindness before haven't you ?
otherwise the movie itself was just a huge piece of crap; so fake and so unfounded on the reality of the rave scene.

Wrong bro.......he wouldnt have done that shit if he wasnt feeling all happy from those ummm ummm happy pills.
Besides....that movie took place in LA (correct me if im wrong) but an act of kindness in that city.....phsshhhhh yeah right.

I thought it was set in San Francisco.
And also, isn't the whole movie based around that guy's "life-changing experience" when he goes to his first rave.
The reason he pays for ten people's tolls is because he is so happy, and he is feeling so good ------>> no because he is still fooked up on drugs.
Best song on the soundtrack was that Infinitely Gentle Blows track at the end or Heaven Scent i think.

It was set in San Fran because the head promoter had on a BPM shirt which is the equivalent (along with Tweakin') to Satellite Records here in NYC.
As for the movie, it was some of the worst acting I've ever seen, but I would see that movie again and again for part that Digweed played Heavenscent. To me, no director has come close to catching the state of musical euphoria better than Greg Harrison with that one scene...
