REVIEW: infected mushroom at aria
well i got to the club at 1:10am thinking that by being early i would avoid a long line. but to my surprise there was already a damn long line. oh well that was just a sign that the night would be crazy.
we got into the club at about 2:15 and chilled to the sounds of yaz, he started off a bit housey but later picked it up to set up nicely for IM, yaz was ok but i spotted a few flaws in his mixing.
once IM came on it was game over, their set was hard and pounding from start to finish, great psy trance. it was my first time to see these guys live and boy did they blow me away. it was nice to see how lively they were behind the decks as well, its always nice when dj's are into thier sets.
after IM left the stage wizz came on and this man killed me, he played and awsome set with great hits like naranja, flamming june and adagio for strings. wizz kept me dancing till 11:30am. too bad i had to leave coz i had to check out of my hotel room before 12pm.
since it was my first time to party in montreal i might as well give a review of that as well.
ARIA- great club, i liked the lighting, sound was great. the only complaint i have is that it got a bit crowded and hot which made it hard to dance, but it was lots of fun. the staff there were really friendly, i even heard a bouncer telling a girl to smile.(now you wont get that at the guvernment).
PEOPLE- i wish everything wasnt soo french coz i know absolutely no french, but i guess it wouldnt be montreal without the french so im not complaining. i found most people i met to be really friendly and very spirited. the energy in the club was increadible and that made for an even better experience. so all you montreal guys and girls kick ass big time.
CITY- i felt like i had left canada all together, lovely city, old montreal is amazing. i wish i could spend more time here, oh well ill be back i hope.
well thats my review, me and the other TOTA's had a fuckin awesome time. now i have to go catch a train back to toronto. (yes i still havent slept)
and louis thanks for the reduced tickets
