Will this equalizer work?
I performed some searches with Google on this matter, but it didn't come up with any satisfying results, so here we go again:
I have an old Fisher CA-38 integrated stereo amplifier with a graphic equalizer connected to the soundcard and my speaker system. The equalizer is an easy to use 5-band one, so it would be more convenient for me to use this together with the my hardware synth instead of its built-in 3-band equalizer. The amplifier/equalizer was actually part of a stereo system, but is a stand-alone box.
Would it work to have this piece of amplifier connected to my synth, or does it have to be a certain type of amp/equalizer? I've also studied the back panel of the synth, and it seems like the "INPUT"-slot is the one I should connect the equalizer in. Is the connecting-part really that simple, or do you have to do some additional connecting? The synth's manual only described the "INPUT"-slot with a few sentences and it didn't make me any smarter.
Thanks to those who took the time to read through this. If this is yet another obvious question, bare with me.
