Breaks DJs

since i dont know no break forum, here it goes...

need some peeps in here who have an in depth knowledge of breaks... im looking to get some break cds as im well getting into them. But not sure whats good and whats not.

Prob be getting the new global underground one with james lavelle. Trying to find stuff with Lee Coombes, Meat Katie and Rennie Pilgrem. Only came across stuff like perfecto breaks, and y4k series. There are some renaissance (sp?) and fabric ones.

Any particular good tracks etc? need to buy some new breaks vinyl!!

avoid lavelle's latest GU, its pants.. hyper - wired aint that great either imo, its major downside being that its full of old stuff though so if your new into breaks it cant do any harm to check it out..

Bedrock breaks is wicked though

The best breaks album I have ever bought is http://www.react-music.co.uk/release/148/react.html - Get it. You won't be disappointed.

Go see Hybrid at Ahead on Saturday too.

Ahh yes, download the mix here.. It's a mate of mine and there are lots of lovely progbreaks on it. Let me know what you think...

Jon Lisle and Steve Gerrard pass by often, they are progbreaks kings. Wrecked Angle production is the nuts.

Still would love to stay in shef, if i can get an IT job within the next 2 weeks, it be sweet but hard cos i'll prob end up living on me own, wont be able to afford the living costs.
