Alex Pearce is a local NYC House DJ whose style blends elements of funky, tribal and break beat sounds into one. Alex has been on the local NYC DJ scene since 2000; originally doing small intimate lounge parties at favorite places such as Izzy Bar, Sin Sin Lounge, 59 Canal St., B3, etc. Formally holding a residency at Liquids Lounge (the Moist night with Touched By a DJ), Alex has also played large events and club nights at spots like Centrofly, Discoteque, the Roxy, and the Lunaterium; having the chance to open for world class talent such as Peace Division, Max Graham, Charles Feelgood and Luis Diaz. As the years have gone on, Alex’s sound has gone from the more tribal, hard edged feel of progressive to the funky and pumpin’ grooves of house music.

Gentian Rizaj has been spinning records since the age of 15, while still at school in his native country of Kosovo. Four years ago he co-founded Buyrum, the production company and soon to be record label in NYC and has been organizing and performing at events of all sizes all over the city since then. Genti spins dub, eastern, jazzy, tribal house music. He has had extensive experience at performing with live musicians and delivers a sound that is at the cutting edge of today’s dance scene.
