I never choose a BPM to mix all my sets at. I just find what feels good at the moment and go with it.

Though, to answer your question, I prefer 140-145.

i don't pick a bpm, and stick to it, but i usuall find they average around 138-140.

DNB : 162 - 175
House : 125-135
Techno : 137 - 145
Progressive HOuse/trance (and by prog trance i dont mean that armin van fuck off rubbish : 130-135
