well the only thing i can think of is those magic eye drawings, where you stare at em and then you can see the shape "magically appear"
or else
those posters of a picture or a person or something, but its made up of smaller photos and pictures.
So unless you're thinking about either of those, then i really don't know..
*edit* and yeah i guess you would call it a mosaic, because a mosaic is a picture made out of smaller things, usually tiles, so i guess as you get farther back from the smallest tile, it makes a picture*
