Don't know much about Kazmir other than he was Mets first round pick last year, but agreed on the fact the other two are mediocre. But as a Cards fan I've saw Suppan come from Pittsburgh and do a very good job, perhaps Benson can do the same. He held us to one run in 8 innings last month, which is damn good this year!

ya hopefully Benson can do a good job.. I can't believe they would rather trade Kazmir for Benson over Sorianno.

Wow Lac, didn't know there were more Mets fans on TA. Yeah... i felt HEARTBROKEN yesterday. I swear, I felt like I broke up with my girlfriend all over again. I was on the verge of tears. Do you go to NYFanSites.com? There's a lot of talk on that site about the Mets trades. Also, a lot about all the new trades (Nomar to Cubs, Boston getting Orlando Cabrera, Dave Roberts, and Doug Mientkiewicz)

Well... I figured out after Friday that Duke is nothing but a pawn. I thought they were moving in the right direction, but I was wrong. Hopefully Kazmir will come up and be a Yankee killer for the D-rays.

yeah... but the dodgers didn't give up their best prospects for two mediocre pitchers. this after the ownership told the fans 'we are going younger. you will see many kids come up fromt he minor leagues' etc etc. now we have no minor leagues. in a matter of minutes we gave up 3 of our top 10 prospects. INCLUDING one of the top prospects in baseball - scott kazmir.

well, a lot of has to do with how you were raised. i was raised as a mets fan. my parents were always for the underdogs. but i know 75% of yankee fans became yankee fans in 1996, when they won their first WS in about 20 years. then the fans just kept jumping on the bandwagon. anyone can be yankee fans. its easy. to be a mets fan you have to be able to take defeat... alot.
