wasn't XXX his big break???


i think it will be as stale as XXX, but that's just my opinion.

I liked pitch black and I loathed XXX (even though I've never seen it - I don't even need to), but this movie does actually look pretty cool. But according to a friend theres some weird shit in it like magic that he gets. If you look closely in one of the previews you can see him doing some sort of energy burst that blows a few baddies away (literally). That would be kind of lame, but it may end up interesting, like of like Dune. We'll see.

this movie looks horrible. Vin Diesel sucks nuts.

Vin Diesel cant act. His movies like XXX(WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY CHEEESY!) and pitch black(B grade) are ..well lets say i wouldnt see it even if u paid me 5 bucks to watch it.

Chronicles of riddick is actually a prequel /sequel to pitch black i think. Both movies have the same character right?

Pitch Black was sweet. This is a prequal to it rite? I dunno, maybe it will be good. Diesel was good in F&F . I never saw XXX.

pitch black was just a typical alien vs human movie. Nothing groundbreaking and the acting was horrible(especially by that little whiny girl who pretended to be a boy in the movie)

The best IMO is the cheesy Vin Diesel one-liners. Yeah, Vin Diesel can't act but this movie might still be decent...hopefully the special effects and such are good.

Sorry to disagree but the opening crash scene in Pitch Black ruined the whole movie for me, I don't need a movie to be 100% accurate but come on the rocks broke through the Ships Glass but then never ripped through anyone inside. I shut it off. I watched it a few months later when it was the only thing that was on...ya sucked. This being a prequil/sequil to that crap movie makes it a big No Go for me. But hey, thats just my opinion.

vin diesel is a good actor but not as the main lead hes great as a secondary character sucks as lead...
