who's everyone's picks for the world series this year?
i'm a cleveland fan but i don't think they have what it takes to win it all. i'm gonna go with the A's from oakland. they'll be the first team since the indians to beat the yankees and then they'll cruise all the way to the series.

I think the Yankees will win again, even tho seattle is doing so well, they seem to fail and pack it in when the playoffs come. I say the winner of Seattle-New York ALCS will win the World Series, not many teams in the NL have the pitching depth of ny or seattle. But hey you never know these days.

id havta say san francisco or seattle. lol maybe theyll even face off in the world series!

Baseball has gotten so damn boring ...its a sport that is 100x funner to play then to watch....... i dunno baseball has lost a lot of its popularity to the american people

why do u say that? b/c u don/t enjoy watchin. don't try to speak intelligently on behalf of the american ppl simply b/c thats how u feel. more ppl watched(live and tv) then ever b4. this was aided by record breakin seasons by Bonds, the Mariners, Randy Johnson and others as well as the retiring of legends Riken and Gwynn. this is a season for the ages - sorry u missed it.

ummm ok there might of been all these records....still baseball is not as popular as for 10 /15 years ago.... i know this cuz viewers on tv and crowd attendance on average in statiums are less and less year by year ....and i know many people who say the same thing.... America as become a country for FOOTBALL and its putting a big shadow on baseball.... and a study showed that less kids play baseball now then ever before.....these all factore in why im saying Baseball has lost its popularity for the american crowd.

I'm a baseball fanatic, played it since I was 10 at school and in city teams. Believe me, I've heard my share of "baseball is sooo boring" comments in my lifetime. But its such an awesome game. There's a lot of thinking involved, what to do at every pitch. Also the game isn't limited by time, and the whole game can turn around in a single pitch. I admit that I may flip the channel if there's a game between 2 losing teams early in the season, but nothing beats the excitement of World Series baseball. I hang on every pitch...its awesome!!!
