shockwavedj - epoxy

Hi to everyone,
I'm new here so this is the first time I show you a song. Please, don't be too merciless

I'm going to pre-criticize my song because I'd like to receive not only critics but some advice. IMO my weakest points are: rhythms (I'm usually waste a long time working on rhythms but I'm always "a bit" disappointed with them), also I'm not satisfyed with the clap and crash sample, the intro sounds slow-moving and one day I'll change the atmosphere effects, or at least a pair of them... and so on

Ok, it's here:

What's your opinion?

Thanks in advance people!

I saw your review for mine so I thought I would give you some comments too. It looks like everyone posted their tracks at once and some fell through the cracks...

I like the patches you chose in the intro, and it leads well into the rest. The ambient touches you used in the break around 2:00 are nice. There is a kind of whoosh sound (not the hihat) on the offbeat that is messing with me.. I would build up more into the break at 5:00. In all there is a lot going on, but not too much and that keeps it pretty much interesting up to the end. The only problems I can find are very small and maybe there only because I am looking for them..

i like the bass!

i like the percussion its very slick, i like the ambient of the track some nice fx coming in the first break, luv those pads, ooo nice lead coming in, luv the way the bass sits in well in the break when it comes in i luv that lead it really is good. Nice Build Up tho i think the main part neeeds more synths going crazy and playing the melody, btw the melody is absoutly 100% great!!!!!,i like the way the hole track just seems to roll so nicely. 2nd break, pure gorgeous ambient pads, luv the fx coming in with the lead, sounds great, the bass coming in like sounded very old style trance ( which is really cool )
i luv the way the track actually doesnt spend long in what i asume was the main part after then 2nd build, then the track builts down nicely with drum rolls superb fx i expected u to pull of a super downbuild with ease, that bass slowing down in pace and going up a ocatve, nice fade out, track ended.

I ENJOYED THAT !!!!!

superb track, neeeeeeds more synths in the actual MAIN bits mate! needs to sound more full in the MAINS.

keep up this superb work!

hell u could probably send it in after uv worked more on it!
