It's done!! .. the addiction has already begun!

Well, bought all my equipment yesterday (first time). UPS has already delivered a few orders of vinyl and I don't have the tables yet. ;-) But! I got a Stanton RM-3 and two SL-1200M3D's (have to wait for the tables). I went with Stanton 680 cartridges as well. I hate ordering, it means I have to wait damnit!

Just sitting impatiently waiting for the tables to arrive. Thought I'd share my joy!

Awesome man! Good deal! I remember when I ordered my first pair of 1200's! I got them sent to me overnight, but the bastard that sent them packaged them sooooo poorly that they bounced around in their coffins the whole way. There was so much damnage to them it was nuts! I was so pissed that I had to go threw sending them back, getting my money back..blah blah blah!

But...I am actually glad that happened in the end. My friend felt bad for me, and ended up selling me his tech 1200 mkII black versions, with trackmasters, $200 coffins (These things are deisel, you could throw them down a flight of stairs and the decks would be fine) all for $1000 U.S.

His decks were in perfect condition, he was so good to them. The retail on what I got was close to $1800...definitely a good deal!

Enjoy!
Steve

It could be worse, I mean I ordered thursday and I have to wait until Monday to get them. I'm just very impatient with this, I want them now. I've waited ages and wanted to do this for far far too long.

Viceroy - Sounds like a sweet deal. Used stuff is hard to come by, I don't know enough people in the business or industry (even friends) to find out about used stuff. Once I do find out, it's too late and they're not available.

Yea, it definitely was a sweet deal, I must have had a horseshoe up my arse that day..hehe.

I know what you mean though. I am one of the most impatient people when it comes to getting new things. I will often times do whatever it takes, or even pay more to get something faster.

I just got a new puter the other day...and the thing has already shit the bed....and I'm going to need to send it back in...and then wait for a new one...rrrrrrrr...boooooo to waiting!

My parents think I'm nutz, but come on...everything in our world today is built with the intention to make it go faster, or be more accessible. I can't help it that I was raised in a world that does this...it has made me very impatient!

Ha! That is so me. I will pay the higher price if it means I get it faster (within reason). Impatient I am!

Getting my car was the worst! Sign the papers and then they have to do all the paper work and sh-eye-t. 4 Days later I can pick it up, talk about a piss off!!

Relating the above to my TT. If my tables show up on Monday damaged or something is wrong and I have to send them back. I'll absolutely loose it!

Hey Skybreak, what have you been up too...good to hear from ya.

Tw1ch!!!...I was in the same boat as you when I got my new car! It was like 3 days before they would have it ready for me. I honestly, could NOT sleep for those 3 days. I would try to go to bed, but it woudln't happen....I would then pop up outta bed, turn on the light in my room and flip threw the brouchure for my car! (Hyundai Elantra 2001)

I showed up like an hour early the day my car was ready....and ended up falling asleep in the showroom I was so drained!

haha,
Steve
