A Night of Trance: Verdict???

Well, i just got home from A Night Of Trance and i am still buzzing, The night was absolutely AMAZING and i had an awesome time with my mate. This was my first proper trance event and it was great. The music was great, the atmosphere was awesome and the beer was cheap. Unfortunately we had to leave early because we have a big game of soccer on Saturday. We left just after Jumping Jack played Adagio For Strings. OMGIDIE!!! That was insane!

Also, how good was Planet Perfecto - Bullet In The Gun??? Old school goodness at the end of the first set. Bummer that we couldn't stay longer, but we really had to go.

So what were your thoughts??? How were the rest of the sets???

Great night.
First time @ ARQ and i was pretty impressed..
good atmosphere and vibe

yeah pretty cheap beer THEY HAD "Stella-Artois" on tap YAY!
/me dribbles again.... which i was happy about.
I was about to buy my BECKS because they had no stella(bottle type) then my friend spotted the tap ahhhh made my night

1. Stella-Artois
2. Becks

Scott got the crowd going..

JJ was ok, some great tunes followed by some harder stuff which I didnt really like but I still had a good time.

Josh(think it was him) hmmm what was with the shirt , disco ball t-shirt pretty funny, looked like a robot when the spot lights were on him mad effect though.

left around 3.30 because I still got one more bloody uni exam on Tuesday so had to go earlier..

o yeah lisa showed me :P
well i was planning to have a big nite, however that did not happen! had trouble getting into it with guys pashing and touching eachother to the left and right of where i was sitting (not that i am homophobic i dont even like hetero ppl doing that in public)
hmm maybe im old fashioned!
anyways was an awesome club i must say! would be great to see an international play there, great layout and lights!
josh... that shirt was... interesting! i have to admit ur style of music didnt sound very trancey to me sounded more like Aqua - Barbie Girl, not really my thing.
however, good to see everyone going off, havent been to a packed trance nite in agesss

On the scale of 1 to going off. That was definately going off. Absolutely balistic.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and made the night so special. Their have always been 2 things that sets A Night Of Trance apart. Ultra friendly crowd and ultra euphoric trance. Last night had copious amounts of both.

The highlight of my night was Scott Richardson's set. That was absolutely mind blowing. I think that was the best set I have ever heard at any A Night Of Trance.

Good to see all the ta's again. Enjoyed Stama's set and Scott Richardson's wasn't too bad for some good old hands in the air. Also enjoyed the large fries from O'galos with Joely and Cam!

Pretty good night. I must say I wasn't that into it, I find it really hard to dance and go nuts when I'm taller than most people on the dancefloor . . . I dunno something I just can't take.

Good venue, really great lighting etc, pretty good sound. I was impressed.
I think JJ and Stama played the best sets of the night (I left at about 4:30) with awsome mixing and great progression of tracks.

Good to see all you punters again. You know who you are. Good to meet some new faces inc Tathi, and good to meet some old faces, who I'd never actually met, Rach, Faz, Spang.

Definately worth $10, although no alcohol next time, I spent so much on it and I didnt even get slightly drunk. So pissed off.

Hopefully shall see most of you again at Rush this Friday night

Had a pretty good night last night. Lighting and sound wise Arq has some of the best in sydney by a long way.

i thought Jumping jack played an awsome set. Really had me going off as was the whole place. Good stuff.

Good to catch up with everyone once again and have a bit of fun and games aswell after uni exams. Im sure there will be a picture of myself and muli somewhere pulling faces at the camera. Funny stuff

Glad i didnt enter the downstairs bit of the club. Faz and rach know what im talking about.

Might see you at rush then.

was fun indeed!! Great to see a packed trance event once again

JJ's and Stama's sets were pure class. Plenty of new stuff.

I thought I'd play some old classics and some new stuff to mix it up a bit. Just never had so much fun DJing before.

JJ didn't play Adagio, that was my last track. He just happened to be up there getting ready when I played it!??

hehe.. funnilly he wasn't gonna let it play through the main breakdown.. but I made him let it finish!

Before we started JJ had asked me not to play a few tracks coz he wanted to play them, ie: whiteroom etc etc. I didn't mind.

Good to hear that the sound levels were not TOO loud this time, coz last time JJs set tore my ear drums apart

Looking forward to rush next week..

Scort
