Today I was in a weird mood, listening to some Skinny Puppy. So I made this up in FL Studio in the past 2 hours or so. I guess its a little industrial/experimental. I did not go full-out industrial and the harmony is not atonal or anything.
Have a listen, it about 2:49 long and is not yet complete. Just a start. I hope to add more variation and sfx interplay. May some flanger here and there, and maybe some fast-dist.

Wow this is really impressive. Love the strings... and the percussion is AMAZING...
Once u finish this, you really should try a mix with a 4/4 kick also... it might be interesting... I think it might be good if you just add some very soft hihats/shakers... the upper end of the spectrum is really empty.
The piano at the start is a little cheesy-sounding. It sounds ok later when its cheesiness is covered up by the other instruments... but it's really out in the open at the start and sounds kinda fake.
There's 1 bar from 1:49 to 1:51 where your kick disappears for some reason... I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but it sounds awkward. If ur using that to mark the end of the phrase, then you need something to begin the next phrase... like in a normal trance song u'd have a crash cymbal right after the BD goes away for 4 beats... so u need something in this too... obviously not a crash... but just something there so it doesn't just sound like a mistake.
This is still really friggin good tho for a 2 hour experiment. I can really chillax to a track like this.

Thanks for the reply. I probably removed the kick intentionally, but I can't really hear to well on these crappy speakers, so I guess I didn't notice that it did not transition well. Will Work on that.
I didnt want to immediatly add hihats because I don't want any of the percussion to sound very conventional, but maybe I'll find some cool sounds.
I love the breakbeats, really awesome! I think the piano could use some FX, such as reverb and delay. It sounds very dry right now. Same goes for the strings. Oh, and yes great strings . Its still underconstruction and you've played with it for only 2 hours so you still need to work on it . Anyway, good stuff.

this is a cool experiment that could evolve into a really nice track
what you might consider is adding a stronger breakbeat to the track (a hybrid type of break) and also to expand the pianomelody a little, why settle with looping a few notes when you can build it into a whole melody

Listen to a track like Filter - Take A Picture (Hybrid Remix) and you'll understand...
it's kinda a deep bassy breakbeat... similar to some of Sasha's...
If you don't like the idea of hihats, then just try expanding the upper part of the frequency spectrum... EQ some of your crashy noises and give them a bit more reverb/delay to bring out their tinnyness a bit more...
