Where's all the clubs/DJ's at?

I'm a TA from the US, and I will be in London for the next few months. I've heard that in London, there is a whole bunch of sweet shows and DJ's all the time, yet I dont see very much going on. I mean London is home to Gatecrasher and Slinky right? Wheres all the upcoming show posts? Can anyone help me out?

Gatecrasher's home = sheffield (approx 300 miles)
Slinky's home = Bournemouth (approx 100 - 150 miles)

its a long bus ride

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that is one of the funniest things ive read on this forum.

But seriously mate, the scene has slowed down quite a bit in london.

www.harderfaster.net has quite a good forthcoming section (it is a national website but focuses on london). give us the dates you will be around and we can tell you whats on. if you're here 3months you should see Paul van Dyk/Tiesto at least once in London

You could get to Bournemouth very easily from London if you were particularly interested in Slinky (about an hour if you get the fast train). I wouldn't bother though, there's just as much in London, though if it's hot it's worth remembering that Bournemouth has the best beaches in the UK. Better that than a shitty sight seeing tour of London, which I can assure you looks better on TV.

And your mistake deserved no more than a quiet chuckle (which I shall now perform... ).

takes 1 hour 45mins to get the train to bournemouth but i highly recommend slinky if there is a trance line-up on, one of the best crowds in the UK. above and beyond, cor fijneman and john askew are on end of july (check www.slinky.co.uk for details) and afterparties on the beach are amazing )

End of july Armin will be at Godskitchen ("Air" in Birmingham), Turnmills boat party and in the club (London), and next day at Godskitchen Global Gathering (near Birmingham).
I wish I could be in UK then

Give some of the smaller parties a go too. London's full of events, support the smaller parties and the scene thrives...

Spangulation @ 414 Monthly

Zoology @ 414 monthly, check on http://www.harderfaster.net/?§ion=whatson

Knowwhere is looking good at The Fridge, which is a great venue. http://www.clubknowwhere.co.uk No longer a small party, they are pushing ahead with some cracking line-ups.

Becomeone offers a progression through genres and has a superb atmosphere thanks to a devoted following. Cool people, great music.

Tilt always gets good reviews and is in the tidy Studio 33. Day party.

Also Renaissance for a proggier edge, Serious for a mix of stuff, both at The Cross, London's best club by a long long way.

Also, you've got to do a festival or three Glade and Creamfields for me, though Global Gathering has a superb line-up too.
