clubbing camera

I'm sure some of you lot could recommend me a new digital camera.

Neads to be 3+MP, take SD cards and take good movies in a low-light environment (clubbing).

I would prefs be able to take clips for quite some length, 3 minutes at least, but limited by the space left on the card would be ideal.

ANy ideas ppl?

But I dont want everything to be green, just want the camera to adjust to light conditions the way the human eye does, or at least to a degree

the 5mp canon ixus would be a good choice .. i got the 4mp and love it .. packed with features and takes great pics .. if i had to fault it on something tho then it would be a slight red eye prob and its limited to 3min movies but thats hardly that bad .. im yet to want to take anything longer then 3mins ..

otherwise id consider a fuji.. dpreview.com for camera reviews and specs tho ..

The old nightshot is always in green, the new Super Nightshot isn't.

I bought one of these recently and its immense, tested it at Gods and it was superb!

I recently wrote a review of and own a Minolta Dimage X20. Cheap £100ish maybe less now. Small, enclosed optical zoom lense(does stick out makes it slimmer). Works for me perectly. If you want to spend more than that look for an auto focus assist (AF) light on the camera. Helps to take pics in dark situations.

the only prob with that cam is that its the size of a small industrial skip.

I have a camera that is quite nifty, can't remember what kind it is though.

I would take a picture of it, but hmmm...

Yeek! too expensive

I ended up getting a Mustek DV5000 camcorder (£100), quite small and should suffice (if I can get it into clubs), and a Minolta Dimage Xg (£170)

Me happy

Cheers

kr00t0n did you take any videos yet with the Mustek camcorder ?
How's the quality? Specially at night?
Read on review site you can record 7 mins @ 640 x 480 video on 32mb built-in memory.
That's DivX right?
I'm thinking of buying it too.
