Smile Massive-Temple (Orignal Mix)

Hey whats up

been a while since i made overflow, i nearly finished with new tune, and am very very pleased with it i made a sample preview, and would be cool if people wanne listen to it

Story behind this tune.

I had some pads composed and i was having some fun chat with mike(mk-s) but i never coulda make any lead for it, so i asked mike for help.

He made nice lead that fits the pads very well, and i made another one on top of it, and started to work with the leads.

Uhm excuse the breakbeat am not sure about it, my first attempt, i changed it antonio, the patterns not sure if it's right now.

Well I guess I can comment now

What can I say, I don't really have suggestions, everything sounds great. Except for the break, it sounds a bit amateuristic in comparison with the rest of the track. Also, you might give the track a bit more enrgy when you switch from the breaks to the regular beat. But that's about it Melody, bass etc sound pro!

Nice tune man, a couple of comments:

-Could use a little more low end. Doesn't sound like there's much sub-bass in either the bassline or the kick.
-Really not a fan of the breakbeat. It seems like it's just in there to fill up some space and should just be removed completely IMO. If you do want to keep the breakbeat, then change it to a more danceable pattern and emphasize the snare/clap a LOT more.

Other than that, enjoyed it a lot. Have heard a lot of improvement from you in the past 6 months or so =)

heey fahad,
nice tune mate! really enjoyed listening. my only comments would be to get rid of breakbeat and change the climax. like sean said it seems like its there just to fill up space. and climax is well not really a climax. maybe the lead could be a tad louder, but thats just taste i guess nice work

john

I agree about the break, if you want to open up the general sound and make it sound more fluid, add some panned delays to those pads. Clap needs more reverb i feel. And maybe add some slight distortion to that bass to warm it up slightly. I do feel there is a lack of drive in this track, but your definatly improving and im sure within a few months you'll be able to sort that out

Ignoring those breaks, pretty nice track. My only criticism is that the track doesn't have a lot of power or drive. Perhaps bringing up the volume of the pads, or layering the synth a bit more would help. I'll drop you more comments later on MSN.
